Questions About Services?
Can I sedate my pet before their appointment?
Short answer, yes. You can administer a mild vet prescribed sedative prior to your pet’s appointment. However, you MUST inform the groomer prior to the appointment that you are planning to do this. We always recommend trying an appointment without sedation first, as the mobile unit environment is free of the stressors most pets react to. We will NOT administer any medication for you.
How long will my appointment take?
Appointment time varies by pet. Size, coat type, condition of coat, grooming service, and behaviour all affect the amount of time it takes to groom your pet. As a general rule, if your pet is in good shape and well-behaved, most appointments are completed in 2 hours or less.
Does my pet have to be vaccinated?
Yes and no. All pets 16 weeks of age or older must be current on their vaccinations. For a list of the required vaccinations go to our VACCINATIONS page. In addition to records of vaccination administration, we also accept TITER TESTS dated within the past 12 months and HEALTH CERTIFICATES dated within the past 6 months. You can email, text, or provide hardcopies of your pet’s vet records. Please note, WE DO NOT ACCEPT HANDWRITTEN RECORDS.
Can you groom my pet without a bath?
Getting your pet professionally clean is a key step in the grooming process. Not only does it improve the quality of the groom, it promotes healthy skin and coat. We do not use waterless shampoo because it leaves residue behind on your pet’s skin which builds up over time. Only if bathing your pet is a health risk will we forego the bath. We DO NOT discount these grooms as dirty hair puts excess wear and tear on our tools.
Do you offer discounts?
As of now we are not offering any discounts, though we do regularly run contests for free grooms or add-on services. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram to find out when these contests are running! Owners who keep their pets on a regular grooming schedule (every 4-6 weeks) will be eligible for exclusive promotions.
Can I be there while my pet is being groomed?
For liability reasons, owners are not permitted to be in the mobile unit while their pet is being groomed. However, your groomer can text you pictures and updates (pet behaviour and time permitting).
