Our Grooming Style

We understand that sometimes animals need a moment to process a new experience, that we need to do whatever we can to communicate our intentions through physical cues, tone of voice, and a thousand other minor projections. Reassurance and encouragement can turn a stressful situation into a game. It’s all about gauging your partner and finding a way to ground them in a positive interaction. Some pets will always have “no-go zones” that set off panic reactions and for those special cases vet prescribed sedation can go a long way in getting them through those moments. However, our ultimate goal is to help our clients overcome any fear and ultimately recognize their groom for what it is – a feel-good time! As a result, we also offer referrals to other groomers if we feel your pet might do better in the unique environment and style of care these professionals offer.
